The river Ganga is pious and Precious River in India and it is being worshipped as a goddess in Hinduism. the length of Ganga is about 2525 kms. from western Himalayas in uttarakhand state [India] to Ganga sagar in [W.B.] [India], where it merges in bay of bangal. It is also a Tran’s boundary river between India and Bangladesh…
Due to it’s high density of population of both sides of Ganga the problem of environmental pollution has been cropped up. At Varanasi on various ghats of ganga certain organizations have come forward to take steps to keep the ghat neat & clean & and arrange harathi programmes to enable the people awakened on cleanless and purification of Ganga water through their harathi programmes at the ghats of ganga. The trust has also come forward to support Ganga aarti at Lalitha ghat. With an object to offer prayer to goddess Ganga and keep the premises environmental pollution free.
FREE MEALS TO THE POOR PEOPLE:-
At this gathering poor people who attend at the time of aarti are offered with food More than 150 poor people are benefitted with this Annadanam scheme every day…
